I tried everything, I even tried to install new network adapters, but I don't think they installed. It seems that I got this problem on 9-24, after an update for Windows 10. I did remove that update. I have HP Pavilion dv7, product no.QJ799AV#ABA. It seems that there are no drivers for Windows 10, that I can find.
